Ken Pittman was in a hit and run accident Saturday night and is in Harborview Hospital. There is a fallen rider fund that is available to riders if they let us know they need it.
CARDS:
The Ride Postcards are labeled and still need postage. Rich will be talking to Victor about that. Thanks to Rich’s mom for all her hard work on getting the postcards ready to be mailed. We will be having 1000 more printed due to a shortage.
The club promotional card is ready to be printed and we’ll be printing 2000 for starters.
A suggestion was made to have the combined 3000 cards printed by the same printer and save on shipping.
Proposal 1:
“We propose to pay no more than $200 for the combined printing and shipping of 3000 cards for the club. 1000 Ride Postcards and 2000 promotional cards.”
The proposal was approved.
All City Scooter Community Day: June 14, 2008, 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m.
Susan reported how things are shaping up. Fliers have been printed up and are being passed out. Susan will have more at Scoot About so drop by and pick some up to distribute in your neighborhood. Restaurants and scooter clubs are involved, Eric will be doing some promos, VCOS, Scream and the Westenders will all be leading a ride at the end of the event and there will be free prizes given away. All of this will occur in the parking lot of Scoot About. Volunteers are needed to help the morning of the event.
Proposal 2:
“We propose the VCOS donate a “you and a friend membership” for the All City Scooter
Community Day event”.
The proposal was approved.
Proposal 3:
“We propose no more than $200 be given to Susan Richardson as reimbursement for the printing of the promotional fliers for the All City Scooter Communitiy Day”.
The proposal was approved.
