Special thanks to Susan and her crew for another successful ACSD.  We had a great turn out and congratulations to Ed for winning the Buddy Scooter.  We hope that all of you that attended had an excellent time and we look forward to doing it again in the future.

So it seems that June 15 is “International Ride to Work Day”. Every day is ride to work day for me, but if you don’t normally ride your scoot to your job, Monday is the day to do it. What’s the payoff? Well, you get to ride your scooter, obviously. And you don’t have to worry about parking, or sitting next to a tweaker on the bus.

Among the topics to be discussed is membership dues. Yes, it’s almost that time of year again. You don’t have to cough up the cash yet–but be warned. July is Membership Renewal Month! You can pay up at the July meeting (7/14) or mail it in (PO Box 20547, Seattle, WA 98102). $20 for renewal, $40 for newbies.

The Seattle All City Scooter Community Day takes place Saturday, June 13th, bringing together scooter riders, enthusiasts and prospective owners. Get answers to your questions, talk about scooters as an alternative commute vehicle, meet local club members, mingle and enjoy information and offerings from our sponsors. The event is free and open to all. We hope to see you there!

Cretins have set June 13 as the date of this years  Mods vs Rockers ride.  Scooters meet at 11:oo am at the Sculpture Park Uptown Coffee across from Pier 70.  The Friday night party is at The Tiger Lounge 412 Orcas St. in Georgetown.

Come ride with the Westenders along the Green River this Sunday, May 31! Stops will be made at Valley Scooters (refreshments served!), and DQ for lunch. Ride leaves C&P Coffee at 10:15am. Come early (9:30 - 10:15) for coffee and nibbles, courtesy of VCOS!  Click here for more details!
