STAB VII
2009

This year STAB 7 will be much the same as years gone by with a pot-luck rib Bar-B-Q at Vince’s house on Saturday evening and a ride to Tacoma on Sunday for an IPA fest and lunch at the Parkway Tavern in Tacoma. The Tacoma action will be handled by the Firkin Scooter club of Tacoma.
The Rib feast will be on Saturday evening, August 22nd from 6pm to 11 pm. We request an RSVP to get a handle on the rib order but we’ll feed any slacker that can’t get their act together to RSVP. RSVP Vince at vdrowley@hotmail.com or call him if you have his number.
The ride to Tacoma will be a little longer than usual with a meet-up for coffee and donuts on the U of W waterfront activities dock, behind Husky Stadium,   http://www.washington.edu/home/maps/southeast.html?81,60,1114,1039 at 10 am, Sunday morning, August 23rd. We’ll head for T-Town around 11am via Lake Washington Boulevard, Renton, Maple Valley, Cumberland, Enumclaw… etc.
While in Tacoma we have a couple of rides, destinations and a scavenger hunt to offer adventuresome attendees or you can just lie back and enjoy the Parkway Tavern, http://www.myspace.com/parkwaytavern. We expect to arrive in Tacoma around 1pm and head out around 5pm with a ride over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, through Gig Harbor, Olalla, and Banner concluding at the Southworth ferry.
